At the eastern end of the Costa del Sol lies the bay of Almeria, behind which the Sierra Nevada meets the Sierra de las Estancias where the ancient Moorish town of Baza lies on the route from Granada to Murcia and Alicante. From here the Sierra Alhamilla and the Sierra Cabrera sweep down to the sea and the little port of Garrucha between the Costa del Sol and the Costa Blanca.

Los Llanos & Los Angeles overlook Albanchez, a small typically Spanish pueblo (village), where the people are friendly and sociable and things go at a slower pace for that wonderfully peaceful living, that is until Fiesta week when the village bursts into life with sun, song and sangria, fun and games for children and adults alike. That's ok - you have the rest of the year to recover from the indulgencies of the Fiesta of San Roque.
